Goodale Park is one of the cities older parks that is the middle of the Shirt North District. A relaxing day can be spent at Goodale Park. Great for family picnics with a lot of green space.

This is a beautiful and quiet area just off of the hustling and bustling Short North area. Plenty of trees and fountains and paths. Still looks as it must have 100 years ago.

Rain mucked our visit here but knowing that we went out of the way to go at all, and that our trip could easily have lasted another hour or two is enough for us to be planning a trip back. Getting here, to the main...More

Very nice to have this park in the Grandview and Short North area. Beautiful park to walk and attend events in. Worth visiting if you are in the Grandview or Short North area. Also a great place to walk your dog.

Nice green space in the middle of the city! Nice walk from the downtown hotels in the theater district. Dog running around by himself when we were there which wasn't good. Seems to be a nice safe area.

This park is a great pet friendly place. The park is lined with many Victorian houses. They have a play ground for kids and plenty of space to walk your dogs. The people that go here are very friendly. Short walk from High Street. Comfest...More

Goodale Park is wonderful, at all times of the year. People take their dogs to walk, have picnics, walk around and go back to work or home. It's a great place to go escape, nearly downtown Columbus. ComFest is a blast in June, with lots...More

If you are an art or music lover, you must get here for ComFest in late June. You will feel like you are somewhere between a kids face painting exhibition, a college frat party and a hippie jam band festival, all at once. The park...More

Where can I park very close to the park?

You may park in the park in one of the spaces by the recreation center. You can't get much closer than that. If the lot is full you are allowed to parallel park on Park Street along the east edge of the park or in a space on... More
