Wake Nation is a new type of water park (one of only 8 in the entire U.S.) that lets you wakeboard, water ski, and kneeboard WITHOUT the use of a boat. The entire park is designed to provide the ultimate ride experience to both first timers and experienced riders. It’s great for anyone age 5 or older. Just bring your bathing suit as they’ve got everything else you need. The Wake Nation season runs from April through October.

We came back to this spot with our teenage boys and had a blast. A bit pricey without discounts (call or check website) but we had a blast. 2 hour windows to kneeboard or wakeboard on a man made lake with a pulley system. We are beginners and all had fun on the kneeboards. Kids picked it up quickly and... More

This was my first trip back to Wake Nation since 2010. I bought a 4 hour pass on sunday afternoon and a 4 hour pass monday afternoon. I had a blast on the cable. A couple of the obstacles were a little beat up, but still very rideable. The facility improved since my last visit, and I am looking forward... More

I took my twelve year old nephew today and he had the time of his life. I have to mention that Nate Novak one of the staff members at the site is by far the best..... He took time showing my nephew the basics to being successful at starting from the dock. Each time he would explain what he was... More

Their website shows photos and videos of their so-called "water park" that has a trampoline and inflatables on a lake. These photos and video are totally fraudulent. They were taken at some other place. Wake Nation dug a hole in the ground, put some water in it, and they call it a water park. The trampoline doesn't bounce.....and I think... More

Practice pond didnt help at all with the real thing. I had a terrible time. My mom said it might be fun because it looked like snowboarding and I'm a snowboarder and only to find it was very different. I hated waiting in a line for 30 minutes only to wipeout right at the beginning and have to get back... More

Had checked out the website before going and decided this would be a great actvitiy. This was our first visit and we actually paid for a full day including equiptment rental for 3 teens while I was looking forward to watching from the observation area. They attached color braclets to the kids and helped them find their equiptment. Started off... More
