Perched on hilltop of peacock island the place is worth visiting. Local boats are available. I recommend use the government one which charges ₹20 for return journey. The ferrying to cross the mighty Bramhaputra is in itself a wonderful experience

Sailing across the razing Bramhaputra is something special to remember. The overall maintenance and facilities in the temple complex is satisfactory. However, the quality and service of ferry boats should be improved.
