The Chamera lake and dam are beautiful and well maintained. In the rains the water flowing down the hills turns the lake muddy but at other times it is a clear blue. There is boating which I did not opt for.

A man made lake due to the Chamera Dam, it is a beautiful water body surrounded by mountains. You can either just roam around along the lake side enjoying the view or take a boat trip (shared) to have a closer view of the hills.

The place is overhyped as there is nothing much to see in the dalhousie town. The boat rides are costly and always has a long waiting queue.

Go Early during summers or you'll be waiting for your boat ride for more than an hour. a 30 minute ride costs 300/- for 10 year and above. 200 for less than 10 years.

Has different types of rides. You can take motor boat ride for 8 min or regular half an hour ride which takes full round around a mountain. However, its sunny would find it boring.
