Bhagawan bahubali statue is also called as Gomateshwara. It is in Shravanabelagola, Hassan. It is the biggest and largest statue of Gomateshwara in Karnataka.

Not as impressive as Belur or halebedu but stil good. Bit of a climb!!! Bring socks to protect your feet from the heat of the steps/rocks.

The sculpture stands tall in the middle of the temple on a hilltop! I always thought it was Mahaveera himself however the visit proved me wrong. It is one of the Thirthankaras.

The walk up to the hill of 600 odd steps was an adventure. It was not easy, but once you get there, you will not regret. Footware not allowed, so ensure its not a sunny day, lest the rocks will melt your foot.
