Enjoyed my visit but also felt sad to see this wonderful animal chained at the mercy of mahouts and visitors.

Kids would enjoy the location. Crossing the river required to reach the elephant camp. During summer chances are that the water is low and you can cross the river by walk. Not much elephants though.

You can enjoy river crossing, rafting, bathing/ feeding elephants here. But adventurous folks can get disappointed, as there is no sports/ adventure related activity. Also, a bit far from Madikeri, so pls. do plan well.
