Local people call it a SHIV Mandir, its located 10 min drive from railway station. You can reach there by auto rickshaw. Temple has around 20 steps to go down in the gabhara. On the occasion of Mahashivaratri there is a big fair in Ambarnath to get blessings from Lord Shiva.

This temple of Mahadev has a very huge devotee following and has but just a small idol of the Lord Shiva inside a cave which is accessible with some difficulty. A must visit if you want Mahadev's blessings.

The temple is old but nicely maintained. It is located near lousa point hence can be clubbed with other points. The place offers nice views and silence perfect for prayer or meditation
