I have seen many beaches around the globe, but this beach was too crowded. The sea is very dangerous here with high waves, so be careful. Beaches in Goa are far better than Puri or Digha.
Sea market in Puri is great and you can buy many things at bargained price. The new addition is Fried fish stores in the beach. Avoid them, as they use very bad quality oil.

I went to Puri beach during my Puri trip where we spent some time and had some maggi & snacks. Activities such as horse and camel riding are available here. This beach has also gotten the status of blue flag beach and one of the cleanest beaches in India. I felt people could be more careful in maintaining the cleanliness if beach as there were parts where I could see snacks packets being thrown.

We visited the Golden Beach for a short break between visiting other busy sites.
There was good parking and we had to pay for entry (20 rupees) to the beach.
The beach was long (seemed to go on for ever in both directions) and full of golden sand. The water was warm to stand in and walk in for me.
There were many people gathered around the entry point to the beach, but hardly anyone thereafter.
There were large pieces of artwork along the beach, which were really surprising and wonderful to look at.
I would recommend and would return to Puri Golden Beach.

After a few hours of spending divine time and dharshan at Puri Shree Jagannatha Temple, we visited Puri Beach.

This is a relatively long beach with so many people walking around in the sands, braving the hot temperature. Since we were there in the hot afternoon, we couldn't spend more time on the beach.
This beach has all the tourist attractions like food kiosks, rides, curios and a lot of fun activities.

I have been to Puri thrice and the sea never stops to amaze me. A brilliant shade of blue n turquoise on clear days to a greyish hue during cloudy weather….one can spend hours just gazing at the waves breaking on its shores. A vibrant beach market to buy souvenirs. A thriving local bazar near the beach (Sargodwar) to buy clothes and hand made artefacts unique to the region. A bean with golden sands stretching for miles. Add to this the abode of Lord Jagannath. It can’t get better than this. Puri can be visited all seasons. Be it for pilgrimage or for leisure. Noticed a remarkable improvement in infrastructure all around. Numerous new resorts and hotels. There are rooms for improvement such as cleaning up the litter on the beach at some places to improving the roads of the narrow streets and lanes but all in all Puri remains a delightful place that I will never get tired of praising. The Jagannath Temple is a must visit. Seek the services of Panda. Our panda was hugely helpful in arranging a darshan, puja and Maha Bhog for us.

Puri Sea Beach, a stunning destination! Soft golden sand, crystal-clear waters, and a soothing breeze create a tranquil atmosphere. The beach is clean and well-maintained, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and relaxation. The scenic views of the Bay of Bengal are breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. Water sports and activities like surfing, kayaking, and beach volleyball add to the fun. Local vendors offer delicious seafood and refreshing coconut water. A must-visit spot for beach lovers, Puri Sea Beach is a treasure trove of serenity and joy. Rating: 5/5 stars!

Firstly this is not Goa and so expect a nice clean beach in a small town where center of all activity is the Jagganath temple. The beach itself has a portion which is like a fair ground with lots of street food stalls and activities like Ferris wheel’s bouncy castles. The other end is a nice clean beach. The road itself which runs along the sea is filthy and this must be because of hoards of pilgrims who come in and probably litter it and so I rate it 4/5 for that. Else a good small town great beach setting

Puri the land of lord jagganath is a sacred place for hindus and a great place to visit in holidays. The beach side is very clean and the waves are marvellous the sea is crystal clear . The jagganath mandir, one of the oldest temple in the world is located here and it is also known as the heart of puri . The history of the temple is really fascinating. The richness of culture is visible . Foods were too good . One of the most famous sweet is "khaja" there are so many shops to buy khaja . The konarak sun temple another ancient temple is situated their it is also known for its ancient architecture its trully amaazing .

Puri is a great place to visit for 2-3days trip.

Puri Beach have 4 parts. From west to east they are Marine Drive Beach, Swargadwar Main Beach, Golden (Blue Flag) Beach, Private Niladri Beach. Swargadwar beach is over crowded & not so clean. But here you get shops & hawkers, beach foods, camel rides, water rides etc Marine drive beach is comparatively lesser crowded than Swargadwar, a little cleaner beach. Niladri beach is privately maintained & really clean beach. But the best out the lot is Golden Beach which is now accorded with the prestigious Blue Flag Beach certification. It's a super clean & less crowded beach and one need to pay Rs 20 to enter & stay for 3 hours duration. The sand is white & clean. The water is also very clean. No hawkers allowed. Not even a single small trash found in beach. This is a no plastic zone. Some wooden recliners are there with thatched leaf sheds. Baywatch tower is there with security & bay watch personnel. Some restaurants are there just out of the beach lane. It's a peaceful beach where one can enjoy the serenity. Paid wash rooms available. You can also have sea bath at designated areas & the watch men are always keeping watch on you alerting possible dangers. The beach is fenced so anybody from outside can't enter. Beach opens at 5 am & closes at 10pm. Last entry is at 9pm. Great beach, really Blue Flag.
