This is the northernmost church in the world, which is reason enough to visit if you are in Longyearbyen. I first came here several Christmases ago and we returned this trip in polar night, with the outdoor Christmas tree once again illuminating as a visual...More

On the outskirts of Longyearbyen, this is slightly different to your usual church and very peaceful. Worth popping into while.

Well worth a quick visit. The paintings near the altar are beautiful. Say a prayer in the world's northernmost church.

Nice friendly warm place to visit. Cozy hall with fireplace, stuffed polar bear and cake on Sunday mornings. Clean, bright multi denominational chapel. Also the ever present gift shop (just a counter really).

Apart from being the only chapel in this remite town, there is nothing special about it. See it if you pass, skip if you don't.

Small and peaceful church, on top of a hill overlooking the town... Picturesque! Worth attending a service - great experience.

The Kirke/Church is up the hill over looking Longyearbyen. Been here twice on two visits. Very peaceful. Take your shoes off before entering the church.
