I went as a solo traveller and the people who worked there (especially Maja) went above and beyond to make me feel welcome in the group. All dogs were extremely friendly and easy to work with. A very interactive experience getting to set up the sled, drive the dog sled and feed the dogs. I also got the opportunity to... More

This is a must do experience. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to their office to get some warm clothes and boots. I would recommend thermals underneath though as it was very cold. We then drove out to their kennels where there were 95 huskies and 5 gorgeous puppies! We were shown how to harness the very... More

On our first trip to Svalbard and our second to the arctic we chose a 4 hour expedition with Svalbard Husky. On this expedition from start to finish, the customer is responsible for the sled team from harnessing the dogs to returning them to their lodging. The guides are highly experienced and allow the guests just enough leeway to find... More

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed every part of the experience. We started by loading the dogs into the trailer, which was an experience in itself, as they were incredibly strong and eager to get running. Then we headed up to the glacier and attached the dogs to the sled. Once all of the sleds were set up... More

We choose this company since it would let us meet and feed the dogs and participate in the harnessing the dogs before the sledge trip. The only objection is that the harnessing takes a lot of the time that could be used on the sledge instead. Maybe find a more efficient way of offering both parts of the experience? We... More

It was so cool that we got to help harnessing the dogs on our on sled, and we could cuddle with them as much as we wanted. These dogs with all their funny names and personalities live their dream life I'm sure! And thanks to Maja for her positive vibes during the whole experience! Getting out in the wilderness without... We were lucky that day, there were just 3 of us. So preparation of dogs and sledges took just around 30 min. During preparation your helping to harness dogs, which I think is really nice. There is 6 dogs in each sledge, and 2 people. Normally you can always change. One person is riding and another is relaxing and sitting... More

This is a perfect first day or afternoon activity. I highly to this to everyone, especially to dog lovers as you get to visit doggy heaven before you go riding. While there the top three dogs that I suggest you do not miss patting are: -Cox: very shy but so cute -Fernet: will hug and not let go -Nordlys: always... More

I would like to thank you for excellent experience. Our guide Maja was very kind and helpful. All were well organized. I love dogs so much, so an opportunity to be with 91 dogs was a paradise for me :) I hope I will come back some day to try dog sled on snow with your amazing dogs :) Best... More
