This is a lovely garden to wander through with interesting buildings/follies to discover. If you are the sort to be easily bored by aeroplanes or automotive stuff at Old Warden, as I am, it's a lovely area to escape to.

Nice place to visit at the same time as going to the Shuttleworth Collection. Plenty of places to stop for a picnic. Main house only open on certain days so check the website

An afternoon visit to The Shuttleworth Collection and The Swiss Garden is on the same site. A garden showing the Regency fashion for landscaping in an Alpine style. A peaceful place, except when one of the three resident peacocks makes their presence felt. Lovely tranquil...More
