What a wonderfull place for a leisurely walk through the fens and trees with short or lengthier distances. Everything is on the flat so the walks are easy. Very popular with the dog walkers.

My partner and I had a walk around Redgrave and Lopham fen on Monday 28th May, 2018. We picked one of the colour coded walks around the reserve using the laminated map provided outside the visitor centre, (the visitor centre was closed). There was a...More

Had a long walk with my wife, seen numerous butterflies, found a baby Grass Snake, numerous dragon flies, birds singing in reeds. No Great Raft Spider though. Been here many times, I have never ever seen one. Great walks over all. For short and long...More

Took our energetic cocker spaniel for a long walk here, she loved the long walk, as did we. Peaceful, clean & the information on the walk sheet was eye opening! All that & it's free, you can leave a donation to keep it running though!

Absolutely beautiful site... Stunning location, amazing habitats and so peaceful and quiet. Our first visit and we saw a grass snake, basking in the sunshine! Wonderful car park, loved the maps you can borrow for free and return at the end, fantastic idea, thank you.

Good for birdwatchers and I even managed to spot a pair of the famous Redgrave Raft Spider see the pictures attached.

We did the longest route & didn't come across any resting spots. It was also pretty boggy in some places so could make it awkward for you. Hope this answers your question.
