This is a great walk around the bits that are left. The last grave. The last stone etc. I taught this lost town as it was still sending an MP to Parliament for years after the sea claimed it. You stumble on the places by...More

Excellent museum. We ventured in not expecting much, but wanting to learn more about the erosion, land loss and coastal defence systems. This truly is a small museum with a big heart. Whoever created the exhibits knew what they were doing: they are well laid...More

Look at what was here 100s of years ago, the little museum has it all. Dunwich once a flourishing sea port before the river silted up.

If you don't know the history of Dunwich then this is a must during your visit. Only takes about an hour but worth it, and free entry (but please donate!).

Very interesting, although the lady serving/delivering information was rather stuffy and rude. Small and quaint exhibition and exhibits detailing village history. Well worth a visit to gain full facts and information about the surrounding area.
