I've been here multiple times with my young children, both them and my husband and I really enjoy our visit everytime. The range of animals is fab for such a small park. And it's so well laid out and easy to navigate. You can go in with the butterfly's, the lemur's, the wallaby 's and the farm yard enclosure. Feed... More

Very nice place for young and old. Easy to get to plenty of parking and many small animals and birds to see. Good list of feedig times and activities.

Really lovely place. Been on quite a few trips here. Sometimes find more animals out to see than you do at Colchester zoo.

Not really a fan of zoo's despite the conservation work they do , don't like animals cooped up . How ever this is one of those small zoos with a difference. Firstly, if your children/grandchildren like butterflies this is the place to take them, hundreds of the beautiful creatures flying and landing on you , with brilliant enthusiastic staff .... More

I have visited Tropical Wings with my husband and young children on a few occasions and always had a great day there. There's always something new to see and it offers great value for money, just two of the reasons that we will continue to visit. This was recommended by a friend and I was pleased that we went along. Lots of lovely butterflies though it was too hot on the day we visited on probably the hottest day of the year. Plenty of other animals too, including otters, lemurs, meerkats, porcupines, birds etc. There are good places to sit with a picnic or to enjoy... More

Great family day out! Loads of different and exotic animals! Shows and feeding times for the kids! Also places to grab a snack and a soft play area for the really young ones

I Love Tropical Wings , Lovely Place. One Place My Family Could Visit Over & Over Again However We Do Love Butterflys ! Many Birds & Smaller Animals - Rabbits , Bugs Ect Picnic Benches , Little Gift Shop, Indoor Soft Play Area Butterflys Are Flying around In The Indoor Room That Is Humid And You Can Even Have Them... Wasn't all that the food didn't do my bowels any favours the grass could of been cut and the place needs a re vamp unfortunately will not be coming back
