Lovely beaches and there are some parts where wood has been put down for wheelchair users. Note that dogs are not allowed from 1st May to 30 September so be warned. I like chilling out here and part of it has paths not close to the road so good for walking the dogs.

Good area to walk, nice and peaceful but a little further than I expected from Southend Pier. But I will know for next time. Choose a nice day, stop for tea at one of the cafes and get an ice cream if the weather is warm. Good for a relaxing stroll.

It is good for a nice walk, especially on a sunny day, also there are some cafes near by which you can stop and have a coffee and enjoy the views out to sea

We met up with a number of friends and had a group of 15 young kids. We set up camp on the beach and played there all day. There are grassed areas by the sea walk when the tide is in and there is less space. There are a few nice cafes selling the usual stuff and several clean toilet... More

I've had a BBQ at the beach and I've been kayaking and crabbing. There are toilet facilities and cafes for snakes as well as various ice cream shops to stop by for a treat!

well didn't expect crystal blue seas , but expected sea. the tide was out when we got here at 11.00 am, so first stop was the man made pool for some sea experience, looked more like a swamp , my daughter played on the rocks for about 20 mins then we moved on to the beach near the water fountains...
