Lee Valley Park Farms in Waltham Abbey, Essex are just the best kind of fun when it comes to a great value family day out. There are cuddly sheep, giant rabbits, rare breed pigs, long-necked llamas and a loveable meerkat family to meet. You can hit the heights on the giant bouncy pillow, scale the Spider Tower or whizz down the slopes on our fantastic toboggan run. The lttle ones love riding on the combine harvester in Piglet's Paradise. Then take a short trip on a tractor trailer to our working dairy farm, where you'll meet the cows and learn all about life on a real farm.

Took nieces there when they were little, loved watching the cows being milked. Good play areas for them to play.

It's a nice small farm with sheep and goats you can feed and various other animals to observe with your children. And you can bring your dog. Very pleasant two hours.

As above, been here loads last year and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately maybe because it's still early season most animals aren't there and so it's practically empty at the moment. The cost was reduced however I'd rather wait til Easter when it's in full swing with animals and activities to enjoy. Typically it'd get 4/5 stars but Feb/march only warrants... More

We’ve hidden away our birds at the moment to protect them from Avian Influenza (bird flu) and others of our animals are hibernating and staying in the warm. We look forward to seeing you at Easter for our events and... More

Baring in mind this is a small farm, they should have lots of fun activities to attend throughout the day especially in the winter months. The tractor ride started at 1:45, which was appalling as there is not much there to do so it should be on once an hour at least from midday. The birthday parties could have the... More
