We go here every week, it is such a beautiful park that is well looked after and kept tidy and clean. There's plenty of space for kids to run around in, with dedicated enclosed play areas for different age groups. Highly recommended.

I believe there are some excluded areas such as the tennis courts and children's play area. Otherwise you just need clean up after your dog.

Is the parking free or is it pay and display as I'm driving there tomorrow and I need to know if I need to bring parking change

There is free parking with the park and in some of the surrounding roads. I think the entrance is in Chalkwell Avenue, if that is the road leading down to the seafront.
