It's always a pleasure to visit this preserved railway, which was saved for the future after the Beeching Axe closures of the 1960's. Services are usually operated by superbly restored steam locomotives. And sometimes diesels do operate, or the Hampshire diesel unit. There are food...More

Went to meet Thomas the tank engine. The kids loved seeing the trains. There were a few other things to do such as a "teacup ride" for the little ones; colouring in for the little ones; However, there really wasn't much to keep kids amused...More

When we arrived at Alresford to buy our tickets, we were asked whether we knew it was a Thomas day and there would be lots of children. We did know about this so no problem. What a wonderful day it was, you could get on...More

A great day out visiting Thomas and a few of his friends. With plenty to do and unlimited rides on the steam and diesel engines, this is a must for anyone with kids who are fans of Thomas.

We came along for the day to see Thomas and his friends for the wife’s birthday. It was a really fun day out with activities to do at all of the stops. I’m not sure if my wife or daughter enjoyed it more 😊

Brilliant day out. The Staff at the watercress line were lovely, everyone we met were most helpful & happy with the children. Entertaining a 4 year old & two year old isn't easy on a wet summers day. Lots of activities at each station. A...More

We've been coming to this for several years but it's the first time we've had a rainy visit. My sons are still having a great time; we've spent more time in the imagination station and on the trains than in the past and I'd still...More

There are approximately 350 tickets for each RAT. There are three people working behind the bar throughout the evening so queues are not an issue.
