I loved visiting this old cinema, I remember my older brother taking me picking me up from infant school next door. The fact it hadn't changed was great for a trip down memory line! But realistically...its outdated. Some say its an 'old-fashioned' cinema experience, but...More

Great little cinema in Alton, it is a bit like going to the cinema in the 1970s. Switch off the mobile phone, go up some patterned carpet stairs to a small room that looks like your granny's living room and then through doors to the...More

This is a great little cinema for many reasons - it is in Alton so there is no need to travel elsewhere and it is a reasonable price. However, it is rather basic and a little shabby around the edges. The staff are friendly.

Shows a lot of the new releases. Has 2 screens, the upper one being the best of the two. Reasonably priced ticket (£5.50 at last visit). Much cheaper than the big cinemas, but a much smaller venue. It could do with a bit of a...More

Good little cinema with new film titles at a good price. However the toilets are revolting and the place could do with a good clean. I was very uncomfortable with my son using the toilets.

Good little cinema but all under the seats are full of food and rubbish and loads of thick dust, look like they not been clean in a long time and loads of cobs webs and dust and smells of mould really bad. Be the perfect...More

This is the perfect place to come for a blast in to the past. The place could do with a fix up but it's very sweet in the location and experience of old school pictures. Could do with some air conditioning up stairs, however the...More

This is a great independent cinema, showing current films at a really good ticket price. It's not for those who like the big multiplex experience.

Now that the owner has closed the bingo hall, there is no longer any sound resonating in the cinema that does not belong there. The cinema is quaint, not many of these old cinemas around any more and you don't need a fortune to visit,...More

Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on Sunday and although the building is old the staff were friendly and the seats comfortable. Will be going more often now as (like most of us) i love a bargain.
