It’s old, a little run down but it’s an independent in a world of large corporate giants. Cheap, cheerful and fun. Sweets and drinks available, all reasonably priced.

Don’t worry about the decor and the slight worry about what is under the stairs! The price is right and the screen and sound are good. There is no selling of sweets and popcorn. It shows films and that’s it. Good given the location and...More

There is a good choice of movies, most of them changes every week. It's very cheap and there is a good program with the recent movies. It's a treasure for our village, I like to go and support it!!!

Great little cinema in Alton, it is a bit like going to the cinema in the 1970s. Switch off the mobile phone, go up some patterned carpet stairs to a small room that looks like your granny's living room and then through doors to the...More

This is a great little cinema for many reasons - it is in Alton so there is no need to travel elsewhere and it is a reasonable price. However, it is rather basic and a little shabby around the edges. The staff are friendly.
