Went here with a friend on their visit from NZ. The experience was very inspiring as we sat and relaxed. There were a number of plants for sale outside which were very healthy and a good price. This place is certainly worth visiting when you...More

This modern monastery, at Beech village overlooking Alton, is open to the public, and offers rooms to stay for retreat. Delightful gardens. Altogether a de-stressing time had here. A recommended diversion for anyone visiting Alton

We visited the Abbey recently to hear an organ recital in the chapel. This was a good experience. We also took the opportunity to explore the grounds, look at the bookstall and try the excellent tea and cakes. Overall, a very pleasant afternoon.

We visited in an overcast August Saturday afternoon. We were the only ones there. It's open to walk around and look inside. It's a beautiful building. We left a donation and read about the history of the building.
