The Itchen valley country park is a beautiful slice of nature just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The play area is great. There is ample parking. There is a nature centre and cafe. The play area is brilliant.

Really expected there to be much more for the high parking charges. Age 9 boy did not find it impressive, probably more fun for younger kids.

Lovely place to walk your dogs, though can get busy at weekends. Parents bring the children for a nice day out.
