A bit scruffy with the trees that have been taken down and just left in a heap, but a lovely place to walk around, with a delightful little cafe.

Spontaneous wander round a common area and make with some wildlife. This winter stroll with parking nearby is a great escape for a short period to blow the cobwebs away.

We often come here so the kids can run around and play in the park. Also the plump duck sells duck food which is also nice for the kids to get up close with the local wildlife.

This is a great area close to the town centre, has a lake with swans and ducks and boating area, and many acres of woodland for walking.

Plenty of space to walk or play, large grass area for games or 2 play parks to choose from, nice little café (but a little expensive) and plenty of wildlife to look at.

I have never noticed anyone having a bbq before! I wouldn't have thought so though. There is a path way behind the trees slightly away from the lake that is less obvious? They have cut the trees back all around in recent... More

Driving from the town on the southern side of the lake, the car park is on the left at the far end on that side. It's a free car park. You can also find parking in the treats around it.

it is exactly 1.3 km. I measured it with a tape roller borrowed from the council when I was run training.
