Thank you for your compliment about the gardens. We are so sorry though that you were disappointed with the restaurant on this visit. We had difficulties with a till and this, plus high visitor numbers, meant longer queues formed. We apologise for the delay and...More

We had a lovely couple of hours wandering around the garden, looking at the leaves as they gradually changed to their autumn colours. There are some lovely hidden nooks and crannies which make this a lovely spot to visit.

Our first visit to the gardens and it won't be our last, very enjoyable walking the varied landscapes and really enjoyed the artwork amongst the plants and the piglets in the woodland. The Centenary Walk I thought was better than the Broadwalk at Kew. As...More

This is one of our regular haunts - especially as we are members. Anytime we have a spare hour or so we will be found wandering either just us or with the children/grandchildren. Its also where we have my family birthday picnic

You would need to write directly to the gardens management and ask them. I suspect the reason is that, unfortunately, too many dog owners are not well behaved and would allow dogs to roam free with no attempt to clean up
