What a wonderful water garden, it's full of vibrant plants and wild life and is immaculately maintained to a very high standard. There are plenty of benches scattered around the lake and waterways, enabling one, to sit and soak up the vast display of colours in the scenery and watch the ducks and fish swimming in the lake. There is... More

Wonderful water gardens, full of colour and a stunning setting. Good to be able to have a coffee on your way round followed by a visit to their Garden nursery.

Been here a few times now and keep coming back for more. This time we brought my mother in law (A keen gardener) along. She absolutely love it. Great work by all the people involved in the maintenance of this special little hidden gem.

Unfortunately not open enough because it is well worth a visit. Proceeds go to charity which is a bonus. Plan a visit!

We visited in February so the gardens were not at their peak best in terms of flowers etc but we really enjoyed walking around them and how pretty they are. There is obviously a lot of hard work that goes into making them look so lovely. Our two young kids really enjoyed it too, we just kept them close so... More

Second time here and it is not to be missed. A beautiful oasis in the countryside. We stayed at Leckford Abbas so had the use of the water garden. It really is peaceful and beautifully maintained by the John Lewis Partership.

Absolutely beautiful garden, created by John Lewis and now part of the estate. Unless you book a private group visit, check openings, as it's normally one Sunday a month, for charity. Japanese touches, many varied plants and trees, immaculately maintained.

We have been lucky enough to go to the water gardens on a couple of occassions. It is truly stunning. If you are lucky enough to be in the area when the gardens are open, i suggest you take some time out and wander around. you'll come out a more peaceful person. There are no shops, no rides, nothing to... More
