Went here in February with my boyfriend for mountain biking. Bike hire is £6 each for an hour and a half, £11 each for 3 hours and £19 each for all day. We only did an hour and a half and that was all we needed as I was exhausted by the end of it! it was great fun and... More

Lovely day out, plenty to do and see including a big playground and imaginative play trail, tree top trail and woodland and lakeside walks. There are also good bike trails, with a bike hire shop on site. Payable extras include Go Ape and the steam train, but there is plenty to do without those. Parking is about £9 per day... More

A walk in these woods is not only beautiful but fun. Children can often be hard to entertain and parents hate to hear those words "I'm bored". You will not here those words here. The many paths have been cleverly planned with exciting creature like things to climb over, tunnels to crawl through, ship to become a pirate in, all... More

Lots of trails to do with the little ones. Exercise without realising. Hardly ant litter around but would recommend dog poo bins near the vistors centre maybe near where the tickets are. I have been there lots of times and three times have cleared other people's dog mess up with nowhere to put it. So took the poo into the... More

Visited with my parents and my 4 and 6 year olds, all of whom had an amazing time. The walks through the woods are punctuated with structures for the children to explore while the dog gets a walk, the train is great fun and the restaurant serves very nice hearty food. Only recommendations are to take advantage of the toilets... More

Great space to let little ones let off steam. Play trail is fun, as are play areas. Steam railway is expensive for a family but very well maintained, so I guess you see where your ££ are going! Cafe pretty good. A good family day out & kids are always happy.

visited Moors Valley Country Park during a recent short break with husband and 2 daughters - what a fantastic place. The girls wanted to go on the Go Ape harnessed tree top walk way - but we opted for the Play Trail instead. It was a wonderful walk around the forest, looking for the next adventure spot on the map... More

All I can say is great day out!! Just pay for the parking which you do at the end of your visit. We hired bikes for 3 hours and went around the park great way of enjoying the sites. There's lots of different trails to go on which I gather are an easy to hard route. There's a great playground... More

We visited here on a very hot day. Had a ride on the train and an ice cream. There was also archery which my kids enjoyed. Not very much shade and the slide was too hot to go on but play parks looked fine. Weird litter policy with no bins.

I only live in St Ives 1 mile away, so I am really lucky to have this area on my doorstep. There's a full day to be had at the park. From jumping through the trees, to a gentle dog walk, to a great route for a light job. Park runs happen on Saturdays. A lovely pond to walk around,... More
