We have visited this park regularly for 10 years. It is a great place to walk through woodland, visit viewpoints, nature watch, and grab lunch/coffee at the onsite cafe. It is suitable for every age as long as you are relatively mobile - there is a kids play area, lots of benches for taking a break spaced along well trod... More

Love coming to the visit this place, roam and wander the park for hours, enjoying the peaceful countryside and spotting wildlife. Always take a moment at the view point to enjoy the beautiful views. Although some of the main paths need some maintenance with new bark chippings for those not prepared for muddy walks. If venturing off the main paths... More

We went for a walk with the dog in what is typically a muddier time of year. Although many of the paths were made up with bark chippings some time ago, a lot have become very muddy now. There is no entrance fee, so one can't really complain too much about this. Simply bring Wellington boots. There's a National Trust... More

For a place that was supposed to fold with the introduction of parking charges the number of cars told a different story. People including me love to visit this great place. You see people of all ages relaxed and happy.

Perfect walks and lovely scenery for families with dogs and children, lovely little family run cafe very on entrance very friendly with great food and drinks on the menu. The parking £1 for an hour or £3 for over an hour is a small price to pay.

Visited here several times. Great walks and things to do if you wish. We follow a different trail each time. Great view point telling you the different places you can see. The play ground is suitable for most age groups and then can get an ice cream! The only down point is you have to pay for parking, which you... More

I've been coming here since I was small I've also really enjoyed bringing my young children, it was great when the gruffalo trail arrived as it's a firm favourite in our house. Well worth a visit with endless walks and gorgeous views! With an onsite cafe, gift shop and a lovely play area. With car parking with a small charge... More

I have been to Queens wood many times and especially enjoy going there in spring and autumn. However, since the council have sold the park to the Wild Life trust parking fees are now being charged. For 20 minutes you can park for free - you can't give a dog a good walk for this amount of time. Up to... More
