I never tire of visiting gardens and have probably visited hundreds. This one is one of the best I have ever been to. From the warm welcome as we arrived and the interesting cider press and artifacts at the entrance you knew it was going to be special and it was! Wonderful landscaping, with water springing up everywhere, brilliant plant... More

We were meant to be visiting Hereford Wyevale garden centre - which turned out to be closed, apart from the restaurant .On our way back we noticed these gardens were open . Wow - what a find !!If you like your plants you won't be disappointed. It's only April and yet there was so much to see . I loved... More

I have visited Stocktonbury Garden and Restaurant on several occasions. Neil delivers the most mouth watering cakes, salads, sandwiches and cooked lunches to an exceptionally high standard. Neil works alone but when busy is supported by several lovely polite and efficient staff. The area outside this lovely barn has plenty of picnic tables placed on well kept grass and it... More

These gardens are an on-going project and labour of love, with a nice balance of new and old and new adapted from the old. Lots of secret nooks and corners to discover and explore. Its only about 3 acres I believe but feels much larger due to the imaginative garden design, the secret garden feel of several areas of the... More

Small enough to see it all, large enough to find hidden delights. A family owned garden with lots of natural stone incorporated into the garden. Two ponds with delightful fauna, the ponds are not fenced off so be careful with children. There are hidden follies to investigate including the largest dove cote I have ever seen, but mind your head... More

An enjoyable garden with an interesting mix of plants - including wild orchids growing where they have self seeded like jewels dotted around in all sorts of nooks and crannies.

During a weekend staying with friends in Shropshire we slipped over the border to visit these lovely gardens. Fragrant and beautiful, peaceful and enchanting - full of twists and turns as we followed the map this was a thoroughly enjoyable visit. We ended our visit with delicious sandwiches and coffee sitting outside the Tithe Barn. Steeped in history, truly a... More

Great garden to visit for a morning or afternoon particularly in June or July when the herbaceous perennials are at their best. Also an interesting collection of trees. The tearoom is worthy of a call either for lunch or afternoon tea. The history of the place is well explained in a small exhibition in the old stables(?)
