We were walking down the High St & saw a sign indicating the Martello was open so we took the advantage and went in; the weather being warm & sunny. There was no charge to go in & there were a couple of volunteers available...More
Unfortunately the weather did not work out for us but we still managed a windy stroll along the beach which has lovely views. We could not access the landmark which was a pity but what is there not to love about the ocean.
Unable to appreciate this historic building as it was never open during our visit and the information board was so weathered it was not possible to read
