Spend a lovely afternoon here on the Easter Sunday Weekend! Fresh air, lovely views, a bit of history (even though not much left of the actual buildings). Two hours is more than enough for a stroll on the beach, a few pictures and a coffee...More

It's a lovely view. Great to see the fort and a lovely place to start or end a long walk along the seaside. The path links up all the way to Birchington. So it's brilliant and both ends have a place to stop for tea/...More

Found this interesting spot on our travels.. Roman tower and fort now (via coastal erosion) on the coastline.. Our boy had a lot of fun playing me climbing on some of the lower stonework. Nearby (3 mins) huge kids playground to let the parents relax...More

This site contains two distinct relics. It is the site of a sizeable Roman fort - but there is nothing to see of that. There are also remains of an old church. The towers are a rebuild of the ancient church's towers. An interesting history
