Most of the arm is used for car parking that tend to wreck the atmosphere of it. The arm is a bit narrow for cars and people. However you do get good views of the town and sea.

They've made a good job of this. What could have been just a wall has two cafes, two bars ( including the fabulous Harbour Arms micro pub) and two galleries. Good views over Margate and out to sea. Very popular even in the evening. Only...More

Walked from the other end of margate bay to the harbour arm for a late lunch only to find that everything was closing literally as we walked up to it. Maybe this is only a summer season place!

Views where great from the end of the pier looking back over the seafront and out to sea, With the sun out its amazing but when its windy i can image its not that great

This can be a bracing walk if the sea is high and windy waves can actually break over the arm. But it's a lovely walk to the end even on a windy day, you can see the original shell lady at the end. A couple...More

There is always a but nice shops and somewhere nice to eat ..but parking fees here are a rip off..advise you park elsewhere and walk in ..utter rip off

Well worth a visit as nice selection of restaurants and cafes plus micro brewery and art gallery. Good place to sit in the sun and try a local beer for an hour.
