I just had a stroll around the park while exploring the delights of Whitstable. It is a pleasant little park, not far from the beach, that was formerly the grounds of a rather ostentatious private home. The castle was not open, though I gather it...More

Been here many, many times at a variety of times throughout the year, sometimes when events are on but often just for a tranquil stroll. We always bring family when they are visiting and it has now become a tradition to see the Rose Garden in...More

Beautiful gardens with enormous sunflowers. You can watch bowling or wander around the garden or have coffee in the cafe which overlooks the garden.

This was a little disappointing as we thought you could just walk round, you need a tour guide as it’s not really open to the public, but none the less the guide was very informative and saved the trip, the gardens were lovely to walk...More
