Had a weekend away here. You see some quays and nothing been made of them. This though. Very vibrant. Lots of places to drink and eat particularly sea food. Plus a very quaint little market selling various arts and crafts. Loved just pottering about here.

we popped to Whitstable from Canterbury and had a pre and post lunch wander along the harbourside which was full of beach hut sales places and eateries and dinghy sailing and so on - a really pleasant walk so do try it yourselves.

There are plenty of eateries and harbourside craft stalls but the harbour itself isn't the prettiest and is spoilt by a looming, noisy, aggregate-producing factory which gives off unpleasant fumes when in operation.

A very interesting and pleasant place to visit. Fresh fish restaurants and quaint little “fisherman’s huts” shops around the perimeter of the harbour. No free parking. And I personally think overpriced food. Even though a very pleasant place to visit.

First time visit here and we were really interested in the little shops on here and also watching the fishermen bringing their hauls in Got chatting to a lovely old lorry driver from kings lynn who told us about how the heatwave has meant less...More

I went to the harbour during a visit to Whitstable. There is much to see including some interesting buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. Well worth a visit, recommended.

Lovely. Great places to eat and have an ice cream. Good buzz. Working harbour so it's no Whitby, but a nice afternoon out.

Yes it is, I have seen many people visiting with their dog. Although I do not know if you can allow your dog off the lead for a swim.

Hi, If it's in season, they have it around the Harbour.
