Yarrow valley county park is a lovely place to spend some time. A walk around the lake is very pleasant. There’s a children’s playground and a cafe to buy refreshments. Looks so much better with the new car park.

Beautiful Country Park. Did the gentle walk around the lake as was with my pregnant Daughter. Approx 30 mins followed by a cup of char. Great opportunity for some stunning photographs.

This park has a large lake fed by the river Yarrow, there is a lovely woodland walk along the river which has a salmon run. Lots of wildlife. Also has a good children's play area

It’s many years since I’d been last and I’d forgotten just what a picturesque place this is - merely a few hundred yards from an arterial road, but blessed with peace and solitude! Sat on the bench, watching a family of coots building a nest,...More

Yarrow Valley Park is a wonderful haven for wildlife & walking and the kids love the adventure play area. I noticed some signs for fishing lakes. Cafe seemed closed which was a shame. Pleasantly surprised with the parks beauty.
