This well worth a visit the interesting thing that children can have ride on tractor/ trailer to see the farm animals.Inside is a delight farm shop all home grown veg and meats. Then the café/bistro is a delight food is fresh and good to taste very nice seating arrangement.

A friend and I visited with her three year old grandson. We went for something to eat in the cafe and had to wait nearly 45 minutes. In fairness it was half term so quiet understandable. It was well worth the wait though. Stunning sausages. However I did order chilli flavoured one but think I must have been given the... More

Hi Jackie, thank you for your lovely comments - we love the sausages too!! Apologies for the wait but we do get busy in the school holidays and everyone seems to want to eat lunch at the same time!! Best Wishes, Sally More

A good day out if you have young children. But very expensive. Adults have to pay to take children into soft play area. I've never been to any soft play where the adults are charged. Food is expensive and very mediocre.

Hi Denise, what a shame that you didn't try our restaurant as the playbarn cafe (by it's very nature) does serve home cooked 'faster food'. You should have only been charged £1 to use our lovely indoor play area this week, which is lovely and warm with comfy sofas and free wifi - we really don't think that's too much... More

Menu limited, food adequate. Shop expensive, good selection tho. Stopped going! Facilities not suitable for disabled people, lots of rough ground.

Dear Colin, thank you for your comments. Our menu is not as long as some of the 'ding ding' microwave restaurants as all our food is prepared from scratch. We have excellent disabled facilities in the restaurant, farm shop, playbarn and toy shop - unfortunately our farm is rough ground, but then again, it is a farm - so sorry,... More

The playground was in a barn and was rather expensive and the food available here was very average. The main restaurant had a better selection. When we were there the order for our grandson was forgotten and we had to wait for it to arrive and so we had to eat our food before his arrived.

Hi Elizabeth, we do hope you found your way outside for outdoor play, animal handling and a free trailer ride - so much more to do than just sitting inside? So glad you enjoyed your meal in our restaurant, there is much more choice there. All our food is locally sourced, we use free range pork, eggs and lamb so... More

We visited the Pink Pig for lunch and it was absolutely lovely. Nice little coffee shop and gift shop to go around afterwards. For those with children there is a tour of the farm as well as the recreational area.

We brought our granddaughter here for a few hours to look at some animals. We left dissappointed as there were very few in evidence, not even a pig, yes it's winter, but we felt a bit let down. Yes there were other attractions like a good outdoor play area and a soft play indoor area along with the obvious cafe... More

Hi Keith, I am sorry that you were disappointed at the lack of animals. As we explained on our signage we are replacing our pig herd and new pigs will be on site by the end of February. DEFRA have also insisted that we keep most of our birds inside until the end of February to prevent the spread of... More

Awesome food, great environment. Super day out for family with or without kids!! The shop sells organic farm grown produce that is just beautiful, the sausages are life itself. Every time we've eaten the food has just been on point!! Get the Cheesy farmer. Good toilet facilities, large, wifi. Amazing outdoor play area that caters for small babies to older... More

Visited the Pink Pig after not having been for a few years; previously we were continual customer when my eldest children were smaller. Popped in for a coffee and cake with my husband and our 7 year old. The lady serving took our order, picked up a scone and cookie with her hands and proceeded to put the palm of... More

What a shame that one of our staff let the side down as this is not the high standard that we attain to. I will be messaging you privately to find out who the team member was and instigating more training immediately. Our toilets are inspected three times a day, so I am devastated that you found them not up... More

Came here last week for a day out with our youngest, The inside play area was clean, the outside animal part has changed so much since we came last, a lot better and compact, shame there wasn't any pigs but it's that time of year when they all go for bacon! The food was fine, however our only real issue... More
