Even in mid October there is plenty to see. Roses were still blooming. The walled garden has become more established and the Cherry walk was good.

Alnwick Gardens are included with the Castle. I did both. They are not dog friendly. So maybe dog day boarding would be a good idea. They are great fun for children of all ages. I've reviewed in detail on my Alnwick Castle review. Enjoy.

The present Duchess has reorganised Alnwick Garden. I have never seen so many different fountains anywhere else in England. There are many walks to explore but you can just sit outside the pavilion cafe watching the fountains and enjoying the peace.
