While having finished the Farne Islands tour, myself and mother decided to visit the Bamburgh Castle. It is a huge structure and beautiful from the outside. We did not have the chance to see it from the inside as it was already closed when we...More

A beautiful castle set high up a hill with outstanding views of the surrounding coastline. If you park in the car park at the bottom of the hill it's free and only a short walk up to the entrance. I would recommend you buy a...More

Well at £10.85 per adult and an additional £1.00 for a small leaflet with a plan of the castle its not a cheap experience for what you get. A lot of the castle is still residence and not open to the public. You can rent...More

Whilst staying in Alnwick we took the time to travel to Bamburgh Castle. We are more than pleased that we did so. The Castle is positioned in a stunning location overlooking the coastline. The Castle itself is very interesting and was brought "alive" by the...More

Well worth visiting and admission price very reasonable providing good value for money. Walks from the castle especially over the extensive dunes on to a spectacular beech (miles of it) and views across to the Farne Islands. Never mind the weather!
