We walked along the beach especially to see the best view of the castle. It's a huge beach so can't get crowded. Dogs allowed so enjoyed seeing a young dog trying to bite the waves. Sand dunes, rock pools, it has everything. Saw a variety...More

The beach is only accessible by a walk through farmland and sand-dunes. Once there you have acres of beach to enjoy - and views towards Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. Wonderful and exhilarating.
