Decided to walk the walls on our last morning in Berwick upon Tweed. Great little walk lots of boards informing you of the history of the walls. The old guardhouse was very interesting.

Very well signposted walk with some great information boards on route. It's a lovely way to see the town and learn about its history. It's not too difficult a walk either.

Berwick is a Georgian town, but a walk around the city walls enables you to visualise more of its history. Some of the houses which are situated close to the walls are magnificent and in a truly unique position. There are many information birds on the elk which explain their history.
