My little boy didn't want to leave!

Great place. My 2 1/2 year old and I spent hours there and he wouldn't come home! The tractors and sheep were a bit hit! Will definitely come back.

I found this attraction to be OK but a little underwhelming. It relied far too much on farm animals though did have a few exotic animals there. The location is also a nightmare to get to and some taxi drivers haven't even heard of it. I did enjoy my time though found it to be a bit overpriced.

We have just adopted a little girl and decided to take her here as she, like us, is a huge animal lover. Opinions are personal but I dont agree with one reviewer who says the park is 'tatty'. i can only speak for ourselves when i say we enjoyed our visit. Importantly, so did our daughter. We shall return. Dont... More

We took our daughter to the animal park for her first birthday and really enjoyed it! It was a weekday so not very busy which was nice as we had the barns to ourselves to feed the animals. There was so many different animals to see and feed,i expected it to be much smaller only costing 6.50 each so was... More

Very expensive admission (£22.50 for 2 adults and 2 children) for a rather tatty animal park. Doesn't take long to go round. Even once you are in, it would be another £2 per person for a very boring pitch and put. Won't be back

I've only recently heard about this animal park so I thought I would take my animal crazy 5 year old! I agree with other reviewers that the signage for here is not very noticeable but I did speak to a Zoo keeper and they aren't able to put their sign on a main road unless it is a major attraction-fair... Lots of different animals, great value for money! Our 18 month old absolutely loved feeding the farm animals and being able to see a lot of the enclosures through the viewing Windows which were just the right height!

We were stuck on a very busy A1 road and saw the sign for Eshott Heugh Animal Park so decided rather than sit in a traffic jam with a four year old we would visit the "zoo". All of us had a good time seeing lots of animals in natural type habitats. The facilities are nice and clean together with... More

First time visit in August of 2016, with 2 grandkids and was somewhat disappointed in this farm park. It just lacks the overall sparkle of other farms in the north east, most of which I have reviewed earlier. We only spent around 2 hours on the visit, and this included a trip to the cafe, which was obviously under staffed... More

All the animals seemed very well looked after and content, really good variety of things to see despite the small venue size. Cafe and shop as well, with kids playground, mini tractor riders and mini golf. We didn't try and off these, but it all looked well presented and not overcrowded. Very reasonable price, £6.50 for an adult ticket is... More
