    Wild open spaces
Wild open spaces. Just what we like. Great for long dog walks on the beach. Don’t come expecting entertainment …. Make your own. People swimming and families playing football & rounders. Just enjoy the landscape. Lovely sunny day when we visited which made all the difference. Used toilet at visitor centre and all ok. Lovely ice creams sitting at the cafe outside. Dog welcome. A relaxing & enjoyable afternoon

Lovely hot chocolate and walk on the beach
We came here for the beach and a drink. We haven’t been before and wanted to take the dog on the beach whilst we were holidaying in the area. We had a hot chocolate in the cafe which was really nice. Staff were friendly. The beach is great and so close to the car park and cafe. This would be a great place for those with young children. Lots to do.

    Fantastic Beach and Country Park.
One of our favourite places in the UK. Wide sandy beach, great playground for toddlers, fantastic welcome at the cafe and a lovely walk around the lake. Highly recommend Druridge for a day out with toddlers and young children.

    Druridge bay country park review
Lovely walk, very clean. Cafe onsite but didn’t have time to go in because my free hour parking was due to run out. Highland cows on the walk down to the beach. Preferred walking around the lake at the back rather than the main lake where the water sports are. But my daughter enjoyed walking over the stepping stones.

    CAFE EXPERIENCE
The cafe at the Country Park is clean and well appointed, offering freshly made sandwiches, toasties, soup etc. The staff are very friendly. Enjoy a lunch break after a walk round the lake.

What a beautiful place and the staff are really helpful and friendly, we stayed for 4 nights and would go back again any time. The walks and the area are amazing, we were woken in the mornings with the sound of the countryside.

The country park and beach are very beautiful place to visit and to take the dogs for a walk. I like the stepping stones along the country lake walk. I visited the café afterwards for a coffee and ice cream the price of coffee was reliable priced but staff were just putting more coffee beans into the machine and so wasn't strong enough and was cold. The staff member serving wasn't greatest customer service as she didn't mention the changing the coffee beans. So overall visit to the park was good but cafe was not good.

Called for a couple of coffees. One caffeinated and made with beans, one decaf and made with a spoonful of instant coffee. Both at the same cost!
I queried the pricing. Beans and INSTANT powder the same price! REALLY. The least you could offer is decaf coffee bags and then fair enough re cost.
Please reconsider!

We popped up to Druridge on Sunday to stretch the legs , it's a beutiful place , we parked just off the sand dunes and walked along the beach and back along the road to the car , just a couple of miles but the views are amazing , the waves were crashing as it was windy and the sand blowing along the ground, I can imagine in the summer the place would be full but today there was only a dozen or so people on the beach , wonderful place and deffo be back

Not the Country Park end of Druridge but in the middle of a glorious Bay between Country Park and Cresswell (National Trust owned). Rough track and no camping allowed. I have been coming here over 70 years- but how it gets spoilt by people!
On Saturday we went to find a huge pile of dog poo in bags dumped under a polite sign requesting dog owners to take their dog dirt (bagged or loose) home with them- who do dog owners expect someone else to take their dog excrement away- and why should anyone else have to clear up their foul poo?! We had to steer our grandchildren through sand dunes dotted with dog dirt to get to Northumberland's most beautiful beach. Sad.

The beach is beautiful but the cafe is adequate at best. Shame, it could be developed into a lovely venue in such a lovely setting.
