The town of Edwinstone is a quaint, Robin Hood obsessed place but does have lots of charm. The sausages at the local butchers are very tasty. Lots of festivals going on in the summer months and national cycle routes nearby. Well worth a visit

Good Arts and Crafts centre, but only 1 hour parking in the main street. A few small individual shops were good but not much else to see here.

This is a lovely village with lots to see. There are several eating places with a lovely cake shop/ cafe. Some lovely shops on the high street. Nice walk along the river. A couple of children's playgrounds. A short walk from the high street to the fair ground and craft centre. And a 20min walk to the forest.

Nice village near the Sherwood Forest. Good place for a short stay to explore the forest. Has a co op supermarket and many places to eat or drink.

Lovely little village on the edge of Sherwood Forest. Lovely gift shops and locally run amenities such as greengrocer and hardware. Have your photo taken with the Robin Hood and Maid Marion statue.

Come here quite a lot to go to the Sherwood Forest visitor centre one minute drive up the road. Cheap all day eats at the Dukeries Pub and Hotel two minutes up the road to Rufford. Stayed at The Black Swan Pub "B&B" a few times. Basic rooms, twin room had a mouldy roofed bathroom (no window or ventilation). Theres... More
