Sherwood Pines Forest Park is the East Midlands' largest public forest set within the great Sherwood Forest. With everything you could want for a fantastic day outdoors... great cycling trails and mountain biking areas, wonderful walks through mixed habitats, play areas for kids, Go Ape Tree Top Adventure and Forest Segway, even live music concerts on summer evenings.

This is a well equipped area for friends and family’s to come for the day, there is plenty to do plus the hiring of bikes is available. For me I love doing the long walks where I can sometimes click up 10 miles.

Hi no camping in Sherwood Pines at the moment but there are plans for the future. The nearest one is Sherwood Forest Holiday Park at Kings Clipstone but it is a couple of miles away.
