So blessed to have this top class gallery in Nottinghamshire. Excellent touring exhibitions of quality work, good educational material, brilliant building & permeant collection. All free! Would be perfect if only vegan options in café.

The Portland Collection gives an insight into local history and how the aristocracy spent their money. Well worth a visit. The main gallery has a striking display of silverware and designer furniture. Cafe was very busy on a Saturday.

It is small so don't expect a gallery so to speak..However quality wise as a contemporary art lover. This gallery is a beautiful 30 minute visit there's a coffee shop, farm shop and garden centre son could easily spend an hour or two here.

When we visited many of the 5th Duke of Portland's treasures were on view. Pictures and many other artefacts. An amazing display of the family silverware was the highlight.

As people have already said, the car parking is extremely convenient; only a moment's walk from the Harley Gallery. There are lots of spaces too.
