We are a small, family run brewery located next to the Cambrian Railway line near Oswestry. We have a wonderful little bar where you can buy take away beer or have a pint and watch the lads hard at work brewing the good stuff!

A summer weekend - early evening at Stonehouse - just perfect! Picnic tables in the orchard and plenty of space for children and dogs to relax too. Delicious Henstone gin, wonderful beers and superb pizza on Friday and Saturdays 4-7pm. We are very lucky to...More

We went for drinks as we were staying nearby. They serve real ale but no craft. We had the cider which was reasonable. The beer garden is a lovely place to sit, especially in sunny weather. Unfortunately, when we were there, we were asked to...More

Thank you for your review. Craft beer is interpreted in different ways; we serve both cask beers and keg beers, including a Pilsner and a Witbier. All our beers are brewed using the highest quality ingredients on site - I'm not sure what's not craft...More

Just out driving in the Oswestry area, looking for special solutions. Our hotel again recommended this small brewery, han we were able to sample the beer. Great place to visit, we will be back.

I recently visited this small breweryhouse in Shropshire and although it's one of the smaller breweries I have visited-don't let that deceive you. I completed the tour which was interesting and the speaker Shane was approachable, passionate about his business and clearly knew his stuff....More

Local brewery with excellent Ales. Various local food vendors at the weekend too. Always get some bottles to go out or else you’ll regret it. Friendly staff too.

I have enjoyed several pints of Station Bitter brewed by the Stonehouse Brewery so I decided it was time to go and see their premises. It's in idyllic setting next to a disused railway and has an open area bar, an internal bar which serves...More

Visited the Queens Head in April and tried the Station bitter. Told it had travelled all of 4 miles to be served. At the next opportunity we visited the brewery at Weston, which is a modern unit near the old railway station. It has lots...More

If you go at a quiet time you have to ring the bell for service. I didn't find this a problem as one or the brewery lads came out straight away. I am very familiar with the Stonehouse ales but had not tried the new...More
