Only been for lunch. Food better portions after new owners. Decor needs revamping and updating. Gardens nice in summer to sit out but again could be made to look better.

Have eaten here a couple of times and the food has been good standard pub selection. Nice choice of Thatchers and local ales, friendly staff. Large garden with play area, dogs welcome in the pub and garden.

Lovely Tasting Carvery, Not very generous with the meat, but good selection of veg. would be nice to have boiled or Mash potatoes on offer too. A good idea to pre book but not essential.

Disgusting food. Full of fat and grease floating in the gravy that had so much wholegrain mustard added to it it was bitter to the point of rancid. Veg was cooked until mush except for the carrots. Outside edge of the beef shone rainbow and...More

We stopped off here on a hot day to cool off. The garden was nice and big and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We weren't impressed with the £10 minimum spend on a card purchase. It felt a tad archaic and think the inn needs to...More

Stopped here for a sandwich at lunchtime. It was ok but it was served with a huge pile of chips that were less than average and we really didn't want. Staff were friendly though and it was quite busy.
