This place was rather expensive to enter and I was quite surprised at how bereft of visitors it was when we visited on a sunny Saturday in June. Although it was mostly neat and tidy there was nevertheless an air of shabbiness about it. I...More

Went on a weekday non half term so it was relatively quiet, but I was not disappointed with my visit. The park is very well laid out and the new owl exhibit is particularly good. The flying display was ok, albeit a little short, I...More

Spur of the moment decision to visit and pleased with our choice. Good value, well laid out park with plenty to see and do for young children. Definitely worth visiting.

It is a nice place but the petting area needs a lot of work... the restaurant seems nice but we went to the cafe only. It is an ok place for the kids.

Hi, Thanks Mark A for answering my previous question. I can see on google maps that there's a Forest Garden Centre, Can one buy entrance ticket from there and go inside or does it have to be from the main entrance only? The reason I asked this because, I will have a senior citizen with me and it be shorter to walk to Animal farm as that's the main reason we are doing this visit. Thanks.

Yes you can buy tickets at the 'Link Entrance' which is accessible from Forest Lodge Garden Centre. Be aware however that this entrance is subject to seasonal opening so it maybe worth checking by phone prior to your visit... More
