Could not even sit in the outside seating area of cafe with our dog
Sep. 2021 • Friends
This is a lovely park however trying to get a drink & food at the cafe at Sandwell park farm with a dog was very challenging. There are no animals there any more so why not open the doors so this lovely area can be enjoyed by more people. We had to stay outside the farm site. Then we had to go separately to order our coffee then lady brought it out to middle of park. The cafe was not busy and it was late morning So much easier for all if we could sit at cafe table. The bacon bap was delicious when we finally got it!!

Footgolf
Aug. 2021 • Family
Took my son and his friends to play footgolf as a birthday treat. Booked easily online and bought our own balls so that we didn’t need to hire any. Checked into Valley Cycles and they directed us past the high ropes to the course. It’s a little bit confusing as the flags are not being used at the moment so you do have to look for the numbers that are painted on the floor and some holes are a lot clearer than others. Kids loved it, all had a good go and found it great fun. The only downside is it’s not brilliantly maintained, few of the holes were full of mud so not ideal to fish the balls out of and a bit of dog poo dotted along the course. I just don’t understand dog owners that don’t clean up after themselves especially in an area that’s designed for sports. Overall a good day and we would definitely do it again. Good value for money and fun for the whole family.

Park for families
Aug. 2021 • Family
We had a lovely few hours at sandwell valley Park, the kids enjoyed the park and going on the mini fun fair, decent prices for tokens for the rides. Definately recommended a visit.

A great day (& lots of walking!)
Apr. 2021 • Family
We’d never been here before and saw the children’s park with splash area on Google so decided to go for the day. SatNav took us direct to the main car park which after we parked found out it was quite a big walk away from the play area / adventure centre! However, it was a nice stroll around the lake, over the motorway and through some fields, took around 25 mins. It had a fun fair which I think opens on weekends and a large adventure play area for the kids with a big sand pit! Plenty of food and drink places about and places to sit and eat. We never managed to find the park with the splash area, apparently that is Dartmouth park which is even further away! Farm was closed when we was there but I think it’s usually open most days. Would recommend for a cheap day out, we had a great day.

Great place less the inconsiderate dog walkers.
Mar. 2021 • Couples
Great place for walking but spoilt by many inconsiderate dog walkers not controlling dogs with leads. Signs tell them but they ignore chasing birds, squirrels & annoying others & not cleaning up after dog xxxx. Place is great but their ignorant ways spoil experience.

Bacon butty
Dec. 2020 • Friends
After a good walk through the extremely muddy woods and around Swan Pool we had a takeaway butty and coffee from the cafe. Got there just before the queue became HUGE

Good value food and drink. Just nice to be able to enjoy it with friends
