The guide material in the building that now covers the site tells a clear story. It is of lasting interest to both locals and visitors. Once again we took some friends from the US who ere greatly impressed.

Well preserved historical discovery, well organized and displayed so that you get a good idea of what the villa would have looked like back in the day! Nice to visit on sunny day and even some fun stuff for kids (and adults behaving like kids)!

Compared to the cold gymnasium that is Fishbourne Roman Palace, Bignor is like visiting a warm, cozy Roman friend's house. One of my favorite tourist attractions in Britain. And unlike almost every other tourist attraction in Rip-Off Britain, it's very reasonably priced and not designed...More

A great place for all the family to visit. Fabulous remains, very good shop, plenty of information - very good for all ages, and would be great as a school visit.

Lots of actual mosaics, tools, and rooms from Roman times with all well documented. There are often subject interest days for local children. A small cafe onsite
