We have been to several RSPB reserves but I think this has been the best yet. Very helpful staff, well stocked shop and a reasonably priced cafe with a good range of snacks. Take binoculars as there are long views over the Sussex countryside.

So pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit to Pulborough Brooks and liked our staff, shop, café and views! You're right it is always worth bringing binoculars - we do hire them out from the visitor centre if you ever forget them! Thank you for the lovely feedback. More

Although an hours drive from home, we have visited Pulborough several times and realised had not sent in a review. We have always found that cafe and shop volunteer staff are friendly and helpful. The cafe is reasonably priced and serves several hot dishes of the day as well as a selection of sandwiches and there is a choice of... More

Thank you for your lovely feedback - it is great to know that you enjoy your visits to our nature reserve. It is probably my favourite time of year now as the birds are singing, wildflowers are starting to bloom and there are the early bumblebees and butterflies flying about. I hope we'll see you back here soon. Thanks again More

We spent an interesting morning here, having recently joined the RSPB, walking the two mile nature trail, spotting birds from the hides, and enjoying looking around the shop and watching birds on the feeders from the cafe whilst having coffe and cake. All the year round there are a variety birds and animals to spot in the hedgerows and on... More

The reserve has a lovely circular walk through woodland and heath and overlooking wetlands. We enjoyed the walk itself which was largely very peaceful and easy. There were motorised carts available for those with walking difficulties, but no steps, just slopes. Looking across the wetlands, it was really necessary to have binoculars or a telescope to appreciate the birds. There's... More

Went for a day birding with local RSPB group. Started with a coffee in the excellent cafe, then a couple of hours birding. Back to cafe for another hot drink and our lunch then another good walk some good birds seen. A last hot drink before our coach journey home. Paths are easy to manage, good hides to use and... More

Visited for the first time on a squally day but will be back very soon. Lots to see and do. Paths are made to be accessible to people with mobility difficulties. We've only ever been down here to walk around in the woods and we love it! There's a cracking little play area out the back too for the little ones, a good place to come and get some fresh air for a couple of hours.
