WW is a fantastic beach with masses of sandy space at low tide. It can be crowded at high tide so check times to plan your day. Car park is expensive in high season but way cheaper than a theme park day out! Be aware...More

Hard to believe we were in England at this beautiful beach!! Perfectly clean sandy beach with clear water. We ventured out over the sandbanks and had a lovely day! We’re so lucky that it’s been perfect weather for it!

Two hour drive for us from London, but never been before, herd how it's dog 🐶 friendly, BBQ friendly, long sandy beach, plenty of parking, at a small cost of £8.50, I say small because it's for the whole day up until 8.30pm, when we...More

By far the nicest beach in the south! Miles of sandy beach. Lifeguards on duty in busy months. Toilet and showers get messy throughout the day - it’s a shame people can’t have a little more respect when using facilities and then it would stay...More

Lovely beach/area so couldn’t understand why a large amount of people were camped in the car park!? Suggest everyone parks in car park only then more people could park then less hassles on the roads getting in & Out..

Things are likely to get busy by 9am - 3pm in terms of traffic. We visited last Saturday and arrived around 4pm and traffic was smoothly moving. It was also much cooler by then.

Once you arrive in the car park....go as far as you can to park. Dogs are allowed at this end of the beach around East Head which is a lovely walk.
